Welcome to Gram-O-Rama! Although the UNC course catolog give this class a technical-sounding, boring name, ENGL 307 is Gram-O-Rama. Through exercises that are essentially comedy sketch writing, students explore the possibilities of grammar and language as a whole. As NCSSM English instructor Elizabeth Moose said, this is "not your grandma's grammar." I had the privilege of taking this class in high school with the one and only Ross White and am so looking forward to taking it again in the fall with the same wonderful professor!

Here's an example of a finished Gram-O-Rama product: an exercise on misplaced modifiers.
