Why is Kurt Extremely Passionate About Medical Technology?

Kurt is a disabled veteran who has received positive results from multiple surgeries that have been deemed experimental by insurance companies. He has had both sacroiliac joints fused by titanium 3D printed implants and received stem cell treatment on his lumbar spine for his service-connected disabilities. Both treatments are relatively very new and for Kurt he would still be on disability had he not had the opportunity to have these treatments. Now Kurt has been able to go back to work for the Pentagon, be a father for his children, and be a great Husband again. Therefore, Kurt is passionate about helping further medical technology throughout his educational studies and work.

What is Kurt Doing to Help Further Medical Research and Technology?

Through his educational studies, Kurt has devoted much of his time towards research and development for new medical technologies. He is really invested in learning data analytics to be able to create inferences using data modeling and automation in order to optimize the expedite up and coming medical technology.

Kurt has also worked closely with the Department of Defense (DoD) to partner with multiple government organizations to fast-track specific treatments, such as “Operations Warp speed”. Which allowed for the COVID19 vaccine to be fast tracked to the American populous. This project was very important as it showed that we as Americans can set aside the bureaucracy and bring about lifesaving technology to our people.
