About Me

Chloé M. Bell Headshot
Hi, I'm Chloé! I'm a second-year Honors Carolina student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and I'm originally from Concord, NC. I'm currently working toward a major in Global Studies and a minor in Information Systems. Around campus, I'm a member of the UNC Club Spikeball Team and an officer of the Rho chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, a national, gender-inclusive service fraternity that strives to serve others around UNC’s campus and the greater Chapel Hill community. I also work as a Community Assistant for American Campus Granville Towers and volunteer at Teen Valley Ranch Christian Camp & Retreat Center on weekends and holidays.

Interests

Although I am fervently dedicated to my rigorous course load and multiple extracurricular responsibilities here at UNC, I also try to spend a decent chunk of my time pursuing alternate, more whimsical interests. As an extremely creative and adventurous individual, I am an avid hiker, painter, photographer, and reader. I frequently enjoy going on long runs or hikes to relieve the stress of college life and passing time in the UNC BeAM's Makerspace or the Ackland Art Museum. I also think there is nothing better for the soul than curling up in Wilson Library, Graham Memorial Hall, or laying out on The Quad with a cup of coffee and a good book. When I'm not on campus, I love nothing more than spending quality time with my family and friends, including my younger sister, Kensi, my life-long best friend, Reid, and my adorable cat named Maisy! Some of my fondest memories have been made traveling with my family up and down the east coast, particularly to our all-time favorite vacation destination, Walt Disney World, just outside of Orlando.
